My Process

Preparation & Logistics

We lock in the location, route, and timing based on real mountain conditions. I’ll share weather updates, terrain details, and essential gear requirements so we’re both fully prepared.

Field Coverage

No directed staging or rigid schedules. We move with the terrain, adapt to the light, and focus on the trail. I stay out of the way and shoot what naturally unfolds.

Editing & Delivery

Color grading is kept faithful to the real light and atmosphere of the trail. You receive a private digital gallery — usually delivered within 4 weeks — with full, unrestricted download rights built in from day one.
frequently asked questions
Who owns the rights to the photos and videos?
Both of us. You get full, unrestricted usage rights with no expiration dates or extra licensing fees — use, share, or publish them as you see fit. On my end, I retain the right to feature selected images and clips in my portfolio and online journal to show my work.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
We adapt or reschedule. Rain, heavy fog, and moody skies often yield the best photographs, so bad weather isn't an automatic cancellation. However, safety comes first. If conditions turn dangerous (thunderstorms, high risk on exposed ridge lines), we shift the dates or modify the route.
Where are you based, and do you travel for projects?
Pyrenees-based, available anywhere. I’m based in the Vallée d’Ossau (French Pyrenees), covering local mountain trails and high-altitude treks. I also travel for assignments across France and abroad — travel expenses are calculated strictly at real cost, with zero agency markups.
Do I need to be an experienced hiker or have technical gear?
No technical climbing skills required, but good physical shape is essential. Routes are tailored to your fitness level and comfort on mountain terrain. All you need is a reliable pair of hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and a standard backpack. I handle all camera gear, route planning, and safety logistics.
How do booking and payment work?
Direct and simple. Send a message with your project idea or desired dates. Once we agree on the route and weather window, we lock it in. No agency middlemen, no endless paperwork, and no hidden fees — just a clear agreement from day one.
